Privacy policy
The short version: we collect what you type into our quote form so we can reply to you, we set one cookie to remember your cookie choice, and we don't sell or share your information with anyone who isn't helping us run this site.
Who we are

What we collect
Information you give us
When you submit the quote form or email us, we receive what you send: your name, business name, email address, phone number if you include it, the type of business you run, and anything you write in the message field.
Information collected automatically
- Cookie preference. One item stored in your browser (
wbm-consent) that remembers whether you accepted or declined optional cookies. It contains nothing about you. - Server logs. Our hosting provider records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested, timestamps) to keep the Site running and secure. We don't use this to identify you.
- Analytics (only if you accept). If you click "Accept" on the cookie notice and we have analytics enabled, we may use a privacy-focused analytics service to count visits and see which pages are used. If you decline, no analytics script loads. See the cookie policy.
How we use it
- To reply to your quote request and, if you hire us, to do the work.
- To keep the Site secure and working.
- To understand, in aggregate, how the Site is used — only with your consent.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising. We do not add you to a newsletter or drip sequence because you asked for a quote.
Who else sees it
A small number of service providers process data on our behalf, only to deliver the services described above:
- Form processing: Formspree, Inc. — receives what you submit through the quote form and forwards it to us by email.
- Hosting: Netlify, Inc. (or equivalent static-site host) — serves the Site and keeps server logs.
- Fonts: Google Fonts — your browser requests font files from Google's servers when the Site loads. Google may log the request.
- Email: Google Workspace — where our email lives.
We may also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect our rights or the safety of others.
How long we keep it
Quote requests are kept as long as needed to respond and, if you become a client, for the life of the working relationship plus the period Florida law requires for business records. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).
Your choices and rights
- Cookies: use the "Cookie settings" link in the footer to change your choice at any time.
- Access, correction, deletion: email hello@winterbrookmedia.com and we'll handle it within 30 days.
- Do Not Track: we don't track you across other sites, so there's nothing to honor differently.
If you're a resident of a state with a consumer privacy law (California, Colorado, Virginia, and others), the rights above apply to you and we won't treat you differently for exercising them. We don't "sell" or "share" personal information as those laws define it.
Children
The Site is for business owners and isn't directed at anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect information from children. If you think we have, email us and we'll delete it.
Security
The Site is served over HTTPS. Form data is transmitted encrypted. No system is perfectly secure, and we can't guarantee that, but we don't collect more than we need, which is the best protection there is.
Links to other sites
Our portfolio links to sites we built for clients. Those sites have their own privacy policies; this one doesn't cover them.
Changes
If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we'll update the date at the top. Continued use of the Site after that means you accept the changes.
