We read the standard web-agency contract. Then we crossed it out.
Most web shops make their money by keeping you. Long terms, "maintenance" fees you can't cancel, a site you don't actually own. Here's what we voided.
If the left side of those cards looks like something you signed, send it over. We'll tell you what it actually says, free, no pitch.
Send us your contractThree things. Done properly.
Every service business needs the same three things online. We don't sell the fourth, fifth, and sixth.

Care plan — optional, cancel any month
Hosting, backups, security updates, and up to one hour of edits a month. Or skip it — the site stays live either way, because it's yours.
From quote to launch in four steps.
You'll spend about two hours total. The rest is on us.
Send the form
Tell us what you do and what you've got. You get a real price and a launch date back within a business day.
20-minute call
Photos, services, service area, the customers you want more of. That's the whole meeting. No slides.
We build, you review
You see the real site on day 7 on your own phone. Two rounds of changes are built into the price.
Launch and hand-off
Site goes live on your domain. You get every login, a 10-minute video on how to edit things, and the invoice for the second half.
I'm Chris. I run a service business in Orlando — trucks, staff, quotes at 9pm, the whole thing. I built my own site because the agencies I talked to wanted a two-year contract and wouldn't tell me the price until the third call.
Then other owners started asking me to build theirs. So now that's what WinterBrooke Media is: websites built the way an owner would want them, priced the way an owner would want them priced.
No sales team. No account manager. You talk to the person who builds it.

Is the price really the price?
Yes. $1,000, $1,700, or $3,500 depending on the plan. Half at the start, half at launch. If you ask for something outside the plan — a second language, a 30-page catalog, a custom app — you get a written number before we touch it.
What do I actually own?
All of it. The domain is registered in your name, the hosting account is yours, and the code lives in an account you control. On launch day you get every login. If you decide to hire someone else next year, you hand them the keys and never talk to us again. That's the point.
What happens if I don't take the care plan?
Nothing bad. Your site stays live on your own hosting (roughly $0–$10/month, paid directly to the host). The care plan just means we handle backups, updates, and small edits so you don't have to think about it. Cancel any month.
Do I need to write anything?
No. You talk for 20 minutes; we write the site. You'll review every word before it goes live. You do need to send photos — real ones of you, your crew, your work. Phone photos are fine. Stock photos are not.
Will it show up on Google?
Every plan includes Google Business Profile setup and a site built the way Google wants. The Five-Pager and Pro add pages for each service and city you work in, which is what moves the needle locally. What we don't promise is "page one in 30 days" — anyone who does is guessing.
I already have a website. Can you fix it instead?
Usually it's cheaper and better to rebuild than to patch. Send us the link through the form and we'll tell you honestly which it is — including "your current site is fine, don't pay us."
Do you work with wedding or event vendors?
Yes — and we've built several. Caterers, mobile bars, planners, DJs, photographers: same flat rates, same two-week build. If you found this page because a vendor friend sent you, that's exactly how it's supposed to work.
Your website, done.
Send the form. Get a number. Launch in two weeks.
